POSITION SUMMARY:
A Helper works in the Fabrication Shop performing daily tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of operations in a Fabrication Shop
- Clean Shop
- Operate power equipment
- Operate Forklift – Will be certified by Holloway America
- Operate overhead Crane
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Prior Fabrication experience – grinding, welding a plus
Education and Experience:
Holloway will provide safety training, MSDS (Hazardous Material) training, and forklift certification.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a Shop Floor position working in an area with no climate control. Lifting restriction are 50 lbs. There is limited work on a ladder. While performing the duties of this position, the associate spends prolong periods of time walking/standing/bending on concrete flooring.
