Responsibilities
- Be part of treatment court team that helps individuals in recovery
- Provide consumer-driven substance use and mental health services (individual, group, and family therapy; skills and educational groups) to adults.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment including harm-reduction, trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness.
- Refer and link clients to community resources.
- Demonstrate skill building in evidence-based practices such as trauma-informed care (TIC), development stages, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET).
Qualifications
- Requires Master’s Degree and provisional licensure in Missouri.
- Must have valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
- Requires basic computer skills including Office 365 and an electronic medical record.
