As a Traveling Field Install Technician, you will construct walk-in environmental rooms. Darwin Chambers does everything from helping advance research, protecting endangered wildlife to ensuring safe drinking water for at-risk communities. Responsibilities
 100% travel – See the United States and possibly worldwide! (Company paid)
 In field training to construct walk-in environmental rooms on customer sites
 Pre-build required mechanical components prior to shipping to site
 Pull materials together and prepare for shipping/delivery to support installation of specific projects
 Assists or directly installs walk in cooler enclosures, mechanical systems and electrical systems at remote sites in accordance with standard installation procedures
 Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with the construction/project manager
 Start up and test all completed projects to ensure they operate throughout designed operating ranges
 Employs the use of tools and materials with caution and while following approved safety measures
 Maintains cleanliness of job site during installation
 Performs final clean-up of job site following installation
 Completes job and time documentation in a legible manner and submits all documentation on a timely basis
 Performs shop work and maintenance duties as assigned when in shop

Requirements
 Ability to travel worldwide at least 100% of the time to customer sites to install environmental chambers
 Must be at least 21 years of age in order to drive company vehicles
 Ability to read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams
 Ability to perform entry level to complex troubleshooting,
 HVAC, EPA Certification and OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required
 Must be able to stand for several hours at a time, climb up & down ladders and lift at least 50 to 60lbs
 Positive attitude and excellent time management skills a must
 Ability to effectively communicate verbally with client and team members
 Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
 Ability to maintain good work ethics, multitask and provide excellent customer service
 Knowledge of general safety procedures
 Must be able to obtain a personal credit card within 30 days of hiring for travel expense (will be reimbursed by company)
 Driver’s License (Required)
 Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and welding preferred
 Ability to operate a forklift/pallet jack, loading/unloading, packing, ability to use a measuring tape, familiarity with power tools and basic construction tools
 Passport is a plus!
