Electrical Journeyman Lineman

The City of Mount Vernon, Missouri is accepting applications for a Journeyman Lineman position. Applicant must be a Journeyman Lineman. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operation, maintenance and repair of transmission and substation facilities, service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems, efficiency in distribution metering and wiring. Applicant must have skillful knowledge of 4KV and 7.2KV distribution lines and substation equipment . Class B Commercial Driver’s License preferred. The position requires a forty-hour work week with rotating after hours, holiday and weekend on-call time and includes a full benefit package including medical and retirement. Hourly Range: $35-$40/hour based on experience and qualifications.
