Position: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Status: Full Time
Perform the duties required to assure materials are properly received, stocked, retrieved, packed and shipped in a timely manner
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Utilize the sites management systems to track inventory levels and update records.
- Load and unload packages using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately.
- Maintain organization within the facility by properly storing items in designated locations.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Pick and pack blank orders based on item number.
- Prepare production orders to ship.
- Receive goods from couriers and sort accordingly.
- Prepare labels for couriers.
- Pass inventory discrepancies to the inventory coordinator/decorating coordinator as required.
Position Requirements
- Proficiency in package handling and order picking processes.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems to track inventory effectively.
- Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and processing shipments.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Ability to stand on their feet for long periods of time (8 hour shifts).
- Ability to lift boxes up to 50-60 lbs regularly.
