RESPONSIBILITIES:
Place safety first
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material and equipment needs
Safely and efficiently operates assigned equipment or machine
Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned area
Maintains good housekeeping of work area
High School diploma or GED
Prior Manufacturing experience
Flexible to work overtime as needed
Must be able to stand and walk 8-10 hours within a shift
Must be able to team lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to read a tape measure
Excellent eye for detail
Basic computer and math skills
Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures and use small hand tools
Ability to demonstrate excellent attendance
Ability to read and follow instructions
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
These are not required, but preference will be given to those candidates who have previously had:
Forklift training
Safety training
Environmental health and safety training
