Racker

  • Retrieve racks of raw material from the staging area
  • Place racks in the designated unload position
  • Accurately count parts on each rack and inspect for defects
  • Unload parts onto the infeed conveyor
  • Drill holes in extrusions per print specifications
  • Hang drilled extrusions on conveyor hooks, maintaining full line coverage
  • Replace bent or dirty hooks; ensure spacer bars are staged correctly
  • Keep your work area clean and orderly
    Adhere to all safety policies and company work rules

Un-Racker

  • Unhook painted profiles from conveyor hooks
  • Visually inspect finished product for scratches, dents, twists, and reject non-conforming parts
  • Unload filled, cut-back, and pack parts onto red carts or pack racks and stage for warehouse pick-up
  • During slack periods, restock pack-material racks
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company work rules

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours, bend at the waist, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Proficiency reading micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and using small hand tools
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions

Preferred:

Forklift certification
Safety or Environmental Health & Safety training
