Loader Operator

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery and equipment to efficiently load, transport, and unload materials on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure smooth project progress, safety, and precision in handling various materials, including concrete, gravel, and other bulk supplies. Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload construction materials using appropriate machinery, ensuring proper placement and secure handling.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Assist with site preparation activities, including clearing debris and organizing materials for ongoing construction tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, material movement, and safety inspections.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, dozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, or similar machinery.
• Construction site experience is highly preferred; familiarity with building sites and material handling is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks or tanker trucks.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
