Responsibilities
- Support medical staff members.
- Help with admissions.
- Schedule, greet, and room patients.
- Gather health and hospital histories.
- Record information in electronic medical record.
- Help with medical exams.
- Take and document vital signs. Gather specimens.
- Provide health education and teaching to patients and families.
- Help patients and families to complete paperwork.
- Prepare communication materials.
- Drive mobile medical unit as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of MA training program.
- Current CMA or CMOA certification.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
- Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and ability to be insured.
