Manufacturing Material Handler/Forklift Operator – 1st SHIFT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assist the Paint Manager and Team Lead with all aspects related to the Paint Line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect Material for Scratches, Dents and Twists
• Operate Forklift,
• Load and Clean Racks Ensuring that the Proper Rack is used and the Parts are Secured Properly.
• Verify Dimensions Using Calipers and Micrometers
• Count Parts and Verify all Information on Routing Tags
• Log Information from Routing Tags
• Keep the Area Clean and Free of Debris Follow All Safety Procedures
• Must wear all Required Personal Protection Equipment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to Stand for 8 Hours and Bend at the Waist.
• Ability to Lift Up to 50 pounds
• Basic Computer and Math Skills.
• Ability to Read Micrometers, Calipers, and Tape Measures
• Use Small Hand Tools.
• Ability to Read and Follow Instructions
• Ability to drive forklift – must have valid driver’s license
