Racker
- Retrieve racks of raw material from the staging area
- Place racks in the designated unload position
- Accurately count parts on each rack and inspect for defects
- Unload parts onto the infeed conveyor
- Drill holes in extrusions per print specifications
- Hang drilled extrusions on conveyor hooks, maintaining full line coverage
- Replace bent or dirty hooks; ensure spacer bars are staged correctly
- Keep your work area clean and orderly
Adhere to all safety policies and company work rules
Un-Racker
- Unhook painted profiles from conveyor hooks
- Visually inspect finished product for scratches, dents, twists, and reject non-conforming parts
- Unload filled, cut-back, and pack parts onto red carts or pack racks and stage for warehouse pick-up
- During slack periods, restock pack-material racks
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company work rules
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, bend at the waist, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer and math skills
- Proficiency reading micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and using small hand tools
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions
Preferred:
Forklift certification
Safety or Environmental Health & Safety training
