Location: The Whole Person – Kansas City, MO
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

About Us:
The Whole Person is a Center for Independent Living dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live independently.

Position Summary:
The Chief Homecare Officer provides executive leadership for all home-based care services, including Home Health, In-Home Services, HCBS, and Consumer Directed Services (CDS). This role drives strategic growth, ensures compliance, and champions independent living principles to promote autonomy and dignity for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic initiatives to expand and improve homecare programs.
• Oversee operations, compliance, and quality assurance across service lines.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and reimbursement processes.
• Mentor leadership staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
• Engage with healthcare partners and advocate for disability inclusion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Healthcare or Business Administration required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in homecare or healthcare leadership, including 5+ years in senior roles.
• Experience with programs serving individuals with disabilities.
  Knowledge of CDS, HCBS, and Medicare-certified home health services.
  Preferred: RN license and clinical experience in home health.

• Strategic leadership, team-building, and operational expertise.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and compliance.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
